Ones eyesore is another's treasure. Especially when such memories are attached. I am very glad you got all you could out of that old jeep before it gave up the ghost. It had been around since 1988 and now continues its life with yet another excited family. Such memories....and you explained them beautifully. Brought tears to my eyes. You will create more. Lord willing, many many more memories. A new car to bring home a wee girl. Such a crazy thought!
At least the fam who bought the Jeep is excited about it and has big plans for paint, etc. It'll see, maybe, 350000 miles!
