Thanksgiving

Oh Dude (T's favorite expression)

Thanksgiving was good. Relaxing and a break from our crazy home life. It's nice to catch up with family. Cousin Andrew was very sweet with Ranne. They watched videos for a whole afternoon in this way. Very sweet, though disturbing that cartoons can be watched this long. Ranne was in a daze for some time after.

I have to say this was quite cute. Uncle Ron, with Toby's winter hat on, looked like a Jewish man cooking ?!bacon!? and of course, Scott's not afraid to wear an apron.

Papa and Nana are doing well. Ranne woke up each morning calling for his Papa.

Cousin Taen got through to her little cousin A. A warmed up with her well, played and seemed to have a wonderful time.

Grandma and Uncle Ron watching Elf together. It is pretty funny in parts.

The handsome Johnson gang, plus Toby.

Ranne obsessed over this new Christmas toys from Papa and Nana. He doesn't have many boy toys, just infant ones. So, he's playing well with them. The dump truck moves and talks and plays rock 'n' roll music that he likes to dance to.

One of the breakfast shifts eating. Scott and I have taken to making breakfast for everyone one day of our visit. This time Raht cut up mango and Ron helped with the bacon/smoke detector testing. It was fun.

Toby and Papa get along.

Aquarium Adventure

This day was wild. We took the bus downtown on a Saturday with DadScott. DadScott lost his wallet on the first bus, which held his bus pass. Thankfully I had a debit card to get into the Aquarium and two dollars for my return ride. We saw the sights and then, since there was no bank nearby, I asked the college-aged workers in the shop if I could make a purchase and get cash back so we could get Scott home too. I mentioned that we needed the cash for the bus since he lost his pass They GAVE us a dollar. I was so embarrassed.

On the way back, we loaded ourselves onto a bus which just happened to be the same one we took down and the driver had his wallet for him. AHHH. Blessings.....
