Galloping Grace in Fall

Last fall the boys and I joined Brendan and Sarah at their invite to the Gallopin Grace Pumpkin Patch http://ggyr.org/. They set up in a parking lot, and it is great. There is so much for the kids to do and it improved ten-fold in just the last year. Many of their activities this year are also out at the McCall's Pumpkin Patch in Moriarty: http://mccallpumpkinpatch.com/.

The boys played at these duck races until their fingers froze.

Both boys rode the ponies this year.
Mr. Pumpkin Head in all it's glory.

Corn maize for the kids.

Corn Box.

Dear Aunt Sarah:

Ranne's turn:

The people who volunteer even pay attention and offer to take pictures for families. That's a rare treat!

Mmm-M! a.) You take wwwwonderful, creative pictures. b.) Your subjects are so enjoyable!! For an unplanned family picture, I say that shot is OUTSTANDING! What an unexpected blessing! Brendan & Sarah's is great too! You illustrated well the wide variety of different activities at that pumpkin patch!! (We didn't make it to a pumpkin patch this year ... nor last, come to think of it. GR! It's one of my favorite things! So, double-thanks for the pictures on that....)

I'm so glad you went ... isn't it a fun place? The people are so nice and my kids stayed busy for 2 hours! They have some fun things to do at their Christmas tree lot next month as well.
